Meet the chefs

Executive Chef, Sean Marco

Sean has achieved a great deal within his career working at some of the most renowned venues around the globe including Michelin starred Connaught in London, and the 3 Michelin starred Michel Bras in Laguiole.

Winning accolades such as the British final of the prestigious Prix Pierre Tattinger Cooking Competition and voted WA’s best Chef by the Restaurant and Catering Industry Association in 2010.

Adding to Sean’s impressive list of career highlights, in 2012 he was inducted as a member of The Chaine des Rôtisseurs in Brisbane. After playing an instrumental role in the planning and organisation of Crown Towers state-of-the-art kitchens, Sean now leads a team of over 200 chefs to deliver an unparalleled dining experience for local and international guests.


Meet the chefs

Chef de Cuisine, Auditya Gunti

Auditya began utilising the kitchen as his lab for experimenting with different cuisines, flavour profiles and techniques. He then went on to work as a chef at a range of distinguished 5 star hotels throughout India including Park Hyatt Goa Resort and Spa, Ista Hyderabad, The Park Hyderabad and was involved in the pre-opening of Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Hyderabad.

Auditya moved to Perth in 2016 with an interview at Crown the following day. His role would see him as an integral part of the team in the pre-opening of Crown Towers Perth.

After a year and a half of hard work and dedication, Auditya was promoted to Chef de Cuisine and now manages a team of over 50 staff in the luxurious open-kitchen at Epicurean. Auditya is honoured to be a part of such a prestigious hotel with so many accolades including the Forbes 5 Star rating.

Senior Chef de Cuisine Banquets Pastry, Lashintan Muthumala Patabendige

Lashintan (Muthu) is Crown’s dessert extraordinaire, whose spectacular creations can be discovered in almost every venue across Crown Perth. His stunning confectionary fills the dessert bar that wows the customers at Epicurean every day and delights them with every bite.

In becoming an expert in every dessert you could imagine, his love for chocolate always prevailed. During his time in France, Muthu made it his mission to understand everything there is to know about it - eventually launching his own book titled ‘Le Chocolate’.

To ensure your experience at the Epicurean Perth is no less than how you imagined, read the following restaurant policies before placing an Epicurean booking. 

Booking policy

A 10% surcharge applies on Sundays. 
A 15% surcharge applies on all Public Holidays (one surcharge fee of 15% applies if Public Holiday falls on a Sunday).
A 1.15% surcharge applies to all payments made via credit cards.
Special event pricing may apply during certain periods.
We do not split bills.
Bookings are essential and subject to availability. 
Menus subject to change. 
We take note of your seating area preference, however table locations are not guaranteed and may be subject to change.
Your seats will be held for 15 minutes post your reservation booking time.
Patrons under 18 years of age must always be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Cancellation policy

Credit card details are required to secure this reservation. No charges will be processed on your card at the time of booking. Should you wish to cancel or make changes, please contact us on 08 9362 7551 at least 12 hours prior to your reservation, or a cancellation fee of $50 per person will be charged to the card provided. For groups of 10 or more, we require at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid a cancellation fee of $50 per person.

Allergies & dietary requests

While Crown Perth will endeavour to accommodate requests for special meals for customers who have food allergies or intolerances, we cannot guarantee completely allergy-free meals. This is due to the potential of trace allergens in the working environment and supplied ingredients.
