This enchanting and timeless tale has been brought to life in Disney's reimagined production boasting all the spectacle and grandeur audiences know and love. The incredible new production from the producers of The Lion King, Mary Poppins, Aladdin and Frozen will premiere at Crown Theatre in July 2025 for a strictly limited season.

Beauty and the Beast is a much-loved classic that will fill the hearts of a new generation. Based on the 1991 animated film, the original production of Beauty and the Beast played for more than 13 years on Broadway, remaining to this day one of the top 10 longest running shows in Broadway history, and touring to 37 countries worldwide. Western Australian audiences will rejoice in the nostalgic and spellbinding songs including Belle, Gaston, Human Again and Be Our Guest.

Age recommendation

Beauty and the Beast is suitable for a general audience. As it is a full-length musical, it is recommended for ages 6 and up.

Accessible Tickets

Wheelchair and attendant seating can be purchased online, wheelchair suitable areas are indicated on the interactive map with the use of the wheelchair symbol. Please note that the venue removes seating to allow for a wheelchair to occupy that space. 

Patrons that require companion card or have other accessible requirements can follow the steps here. Companion cards tickets are only available for collection from the box office and will be issued upon presentation of the valid companion card. Companion cards must be identified at time of purchase and cannot be applied retrospectively.

Patrons may also purchase accessible seating in person at the Crown Box Office, which is open Mon-Fri 9am-5pm.

Casting notice

The producers cannot guarantee the appearance of any particular artist at any performance. No refunds or exchanges will be offered as a result of an artist’s unavailability to perform at any performance.

Children's Policy

Beauty and the Beast is suitable for a general audience. As it is a full-length musical, it is recommended for ages 6 and up. Infants under the age of 2 are permitted free of charge provided they do not occupy a seat and you obtain a complimentary babes in arms ticket on the day of the performance. In the event of your infant causing a disturbance, we ask that you temporarily remove the infant from the auditorium until they are settled. 

All persons under the age of 16 years must be accompanied and sat next to the accompanying adult.

Latecomers policy

Patrons arriving late or requiring re-entry will not be admitted into the auditorium until a suitable break in the performance. Latecomers may not be seated in their ticketed seat, but in an alternate area nearer an entrance where minimal disruption will be caused to seated attendees. This is at the discretion of the venue staff.

Production notice

Please note that the production contains loud noises, flashing lights, smoke effects and strobe lighting. Photography, video and sound recordings of any kind are strictly prohibited during the performance.

Conditions of Entry

Conditions of Entry apply to all ticket holders and guests attending events at Crown Theatre. It is a condition of each ticket that at the time of attending Crown Perth for the event, each ticket holder must comply with the Western Australian Government’s directions and public health orders and Crown’s policies and procedures applicable at the time of entry. Unless otherwise required by law, refunds for tickets will not be provided as a result of changes to condition of entry.
