The iconic global phenomenon, Jesus Christ Superstar, opens at Crown Theatre from February with a mesmerising new production that has received unprecedented acclaim and accolades during its US and UK tours, including an Olivier Award for Best Musical Revival.
This must-see musical will feature international stage sensation Robert Tripolino as Jesus, the dynamic musical theatre star Javon King as Judas and soul and blues powerhouse, Mahalia Barnes, as Mary. Globally renowned comedian, singer, and writer Reuben Kaye will play Herod and rock theatrical star Peter Murphy will portray Pilate.
Featuring lyrics and music by Emmy, GRAMMY, Oscar and Tony winners Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, Jesus Christ Superstar is set against the backdrop of an extraordinary series of events during the final weeks in the life of Jesus Christ, as seen through the eyes of Judas. The legendary score includes I Don’t Know How to Love Him, Gethsemane and Superstar.

Wheelchair and attendant seating can be purchased online, wheelchair suitable areas are indicated on the interactive map with the use of the wheelchair symbol. Please note that the venue removes seating to allow for a wheelchair to occupy that space.
Patrons that require companion card or have other accessible requirements can follow the steps here. Companion cards tickets are only available for collection from the box office and will be issued upon presentation of the valid companion card. Companion cards must be identified at time of purchase and cannot be applied retrospectively.
Patrons may also purchase accessible seating in person at the Crown Box Office, which is open Mon-Fri 9am-5pm.

Latecomer policy
Latecomer policy
Patrons arriving late will not be admitted into the auditorium until a suitable break in the performance. Latecomers may not be seated in their ticketed seat, but in an alternate area nearer an entrance where minimal disruption will be caused to seated attendees. This is at the discretion of the venue staff.

This sung-through musical (which contains loud music) centres on the final days of the life of Jesus. It contains flashing lights and visual effects, pyrotechnics, theatrical smoke and haze, some violence and an onstage depiction of the crucifixion.

It is a condition of each ticket that at the time of attending Crown Perth for the event, each ticket holder must comply with the Western Australian Government’s directions and public health orders and Crown’s policies and procedures applicable at the time of entry. Unless otherwise required by law, refunds for tickets will not be provided as a result of changes to condition of entry.
